Authentication

You can either register with an already existing account or create a new account if not already done. For that, just enter in the “Login” field the e-mail you are usually using when communicating with the BRS Secretariat. If an account already exists associated with this e-mail address, the system will ask for the password. If not, you will be invited to create an account.
This message indicates that you are trying to register using an e-mail address that is indicated as the primary, secondary or tertiary e-mail address of an already existing account that has been created using another e-mail address as the login. Try to log-in using the e-mail address you previously used for creating your account, or contact the BRS Secretariat in case you do not recall the e-mail address you used.
This message indicates that several contacts in BRS database are associated with this e-mail. Try to login using an e-mail address that is not shared, or contact the BRS Secretariat in case you believe this e-mail address shall be associated with only one contact.

Registration

For certain meetings, it is possible to register representing another entity. To do such, create a self-registration and click on the link “Click here if you want to participate in this meeting representing another entity.” located below the Entity/Organization field. You will be able to select the category and the name of the entity you wish to represent for the meeting.
If the entity you are affiliated to is not an admitted observer to the Convention(s) concerned by the meeting, you cannot use the tool to register. If you want to initiate the admission process for your entity, you can contact yvonne.ewang-sanvincent@un.org.
For certain meetings, it is possible to register other participants from your delegation. To do so, slick on the button “Register other participant(s)”.
If the button is not present, other participants from your delegation will need to proceed with their self-registration
If you cannot find the participant you want to register in the pre-filled list, you can create a blank registration for this participant by clicking on the “Register a new participant” button at then end of the list
The registration can be saved or deleted from the registration details page, but can be submitted only from the main meeting page, on which you are redirected once you click on the save button.
You cannot submit a registration or a list of registrations if at least one registration has missing information. Check for the icon and put the mouse over it to see what information is missing. Then go to the related registration form, and either complete the missing information, or delete the registration if you wish to be able to submit the other ones.
Once the registration is submitted to the Secretariat, it cannot be updated. Contact the BRS Secretariat indicating the changes you wish to make, and they will either make the changes on your behalf, or change the registration status back to draft to allow you to proceed with the changes.
This status means that your registration has been successfully submitted, and is being reviewed by the Secretariat. No further action is requested on your side.
This status means that your registration has been has been reviewed by the Secretariat and is complete.
A nomination letter is currently being prepared, and will be transmitted to the individual delegates, including when relevant information as to whether financial assistance will be provided.
